: Armstrong 99 or Bruce EverSeal Adhesive to be used in full bathroom installations (bathroom installation

is for residential use only). 100% silicone caulk must be used around the entire perimeter and a 3/32" bead of glue
on the top of the tongue ONLY. Light Commercial & Commercial Installations- Must be installed using a 3/32"
(2.4 mm) bead of glue on the END groove ONLY. Place opened cartons of planks in the room where they are to
be installed for at least 48 hours .In drier climates below 25% RH or very humid climates above 60% RH allow 96
hours of acclimation time. Example: dry environments such as Colorado and Arizona and wet environments such
as Florida and Georgia.


Note

: For all installations where environmental conditions cannot be controlled, where the relative humidity level

is below 35% or exceeds 55% at the time of installation or where the relative humidity cannot be maintained
between 35% and 55% consistently after the product has been installed, a 3/32” bead of glue must be applied to
the end groove of each plank.

Special Precautions and Recommendations:

1. Armstrong and Bruce Laminate Flooring may be installed in residential full bathrooms following the guidelines

outlined in the Bathroom Installation Section I (Chapter 16).

2. Armstrong and Bruce Laminate Flooring are not recommended over most carpets or in high-humidity areas

where the floor is normally wet- e.g., steam rooms or saunas.

3. Level floors with a suitable cement-based self-leveling underlayment following the manufacturer’s

recommended guidelines.

4. Radiant heated subfloors should not exceed 85°F (29°C).
5. Armstrong and Bruce Laminate Flooring cannot be installed over carpet unless the carpet is a maximum 1/4"

(6.35 mm) thick, fully adhered over a suspended wood substrate.
