Configuring an External Display in Win 7
1.
Attach your external display to the external monitor port/HDMI-Out port and turn it on.

Go to the Screen resolution control panel (see

Click the Detect button.

The computer will then detect any attached displays.

You can configure the displays from the Multiple Displays menu.
