40mm Conversion Shaft
Kit 8113082
For use with 950, 1025, 1050, & 1055 Model Series Balancer
Installation
1. Turn off and unplug the Balancer.
2. Prevent the faceplate from rotating and use an appropriate size
wrench to remove the existing stub-shaft. (Fig. 1)
3. Remove the back spring retainer, if in place at the base of the motor
shaft.
4. Using a penetrating oil, carefully clean the motor shaft. (Fig. 2)
5. Install the coupler using a 5/16" hex wrench and tighten to 60 to 80
ft-lbs. (Fig. 3 & 4))
6. Remove the 40mm shaft from it’s protective sleeve.
7. Make sure the inner bore diameter is free of any debris.
8. Install the 40mm shaft onto the motor shaft. Rotate the motor shaft
until you begin to engage the coupler threads. (Fig. 5)
9. Secure the shaft using an appropriate size wrench and tighten to 40
to 60 ft-lbs. (Fig. 6)
