Instructions
1. Turn off power at machine and remove weight tray.
2. If printer bracket holes are not in tower, then align
bottom of printer bracket with bottom of gauge panel.
Position as shown and mark location for two holes in
monitor tower using slots in printer bracket.
3. Drill two 0.228 diameter holes in monitor tower. Be
sure cabling inside tower is clear.
4. Mount bracket and printer per instructions in Kits
8113881 and 8113883 except route Printer Connector
Cable through hole at bottom of monitor tower.
5. If there is not a hole at printer bracket mounting
location (refer to pictorial wiring diagram and picture):
a. Wire 115V cable to each side of the duplex recep-
tacle with green wire to receptacle ground.
b. Mount duplex receptacle to bracket with a 6-32
patch lok screw.
c. Mount receptacle/bracket assembly to cabinet on
existing 1/4-20 screws using (2) 1/4-20 hex nylok nuts.
d. Tie the 115V cable to cabinet, as shown, with cable
tie holder and small cable tie.
e. Plug 115V cable connector into open socket at top
of power board.
f. Plug in printer adapter and route printer cabling.
g. Tie printer adapter to bracket with long cable tie.
Place 8113891 decal on top of duplex receptacle
bracket.
h. Connect end of 80180125 printer cable to serial port
on main PBC.
i. Connect other end of 80180125 printer cable to
printer serial cable from printer. Also, plug the adapter
cable into this connector. Tape these connections
together to prevent disconnect.
6. If machine is equipped with a 12 bit main PCB,
(No. on PCB 67D51275), be sure to upgrade the soft-
ware to the latest V 1.09a or higher.
7. Replace covers and power up. Reset NOVRAM. Go
to set up menus and set all functions as desired. Turn
printer function ON. Check to make sure LED on front
of printer blinks every few seconds.
8. Perform machine self calibration with 4-oz. weight
and verify all functions.
9. Perform balance spin and follow instructions on
printer decal to check function of printer.
