Disassembly Instructions

1. Turn off power to balancer and unplug from power

source. On an 1800 or 1850 model, disconnect the air
supply.

2. Unplug monitor video cable and the power cable

from back of monitor (do not disconnect from PCB
boards).

3. Remove monitor from balancer.

4. Unplug touch panel ribbon cable.

5. Remove touch panel and hardware (be careful not

to damage). Save these items for installation on new
LCD monitor kit 85009084.

6. Remove front tower cover by removing bottom

two 1/4-inch hex head screws and loosening upper two
1/4-inch hex head screws. On an 1800 or 1850 model,
disconnect the two air hoses coming up from the tower
and save for new installation.

7. Remove 1/2-inch flat head socket cap screw,

washer and nut holding monitor tray to tilt bracket.

8. Remove grip strip, monitor plate and monitor tray.

Leave the three rub buttons assembled in tilt tower
bracket.

Assembly Instructions

1. Assemble touch panel (removed from old monitor

assembly) to front of keypad bracket using saved hard-
ware.

2. Assemble new LCD monitor assembly to tilt tower

bracket using new 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch hex head cap screw,
washer and nut supplied in kit. Tighten until LCD mon-
itor assembly is slightly difficult to rotate.

Note: Make sure the three rub buttons are still

installed in tilt tower bracket before attaching LCD mon-
itor assembly.

3. Next, feed monitor video cable, monitor power

cable and ribbon cable up through slot and hole in mon-
itor mounting tube. Be careful not to damage cables.

4. Connect monitor video cable and monitor power

cable to LCD monitor.

5. Connect ribbon cable to touch panel.

6. On an 1800 or 1850 model, remove parts from

front tower cover and reassemble in new front tower
cover (be sure parts are assembled exactly as removed
from old cover). On a 1750 model, use the cover sup-
plied as is with no changes.

7. Assemble front tower cover to monitor tower.

Note: On an 1800 or 1850 model, reattach the two air

hoses to the front tower cover first before assembly to
the monitor tower.

8. Connect to power supply. On an 1800 or 1850

model, connect the air supply.

9. Power up machine. Turn on the LCD monitor and

adjust the LCD screen as required. Check for air leaks
on an 1800 or 1850 model.
