Instructions

Before beginning this modification or attempting

any maintenance, remove the electrical power and air

source from the machine; also, bleed off any stored

compressed air by exhausting through the air blast foot

valve.

1. Air Unit - Locate hole on back of chassis as shown.

Electric Unit - Drill a 0.221 diameter hole 2-inches

below the ground screw as shown.

Attach bracket to chassis using screw provided.

3.

Install elbow fittings to separator with the hose

barbs pointing down.

4.

Remove clamp and fitting from unit inlet hose.

5.

Slide new clamp on to hose, slide hose over hose

barb fitting on the right side of separator. Install clamp.

6.

Repeat step 5 with the air supply hose, attaching it

to the left side of separator.

7.

Place separator assembly into bracket.

8.

Electric - Canadian Units Only - Apply supplied

decals (2) on air tank to replace the original decals that

are now covered by the separator bracket.

9.

Re-connect power sources and check for air leaks.

Correct as needed.

Operation & Maintenance

The separator is equipped with an automatic drain and

should not normally need draining.

The separator has a replaceable filter element that

should be changed when it becomes dirty. The element

can be accessed by rotating the bowl to the left 45° and

pulling down.
