With the tire/rim inverted,
position the tire and observe
that the support ring is
against the support ring stop.
Inspect at a minimum of three
positions.

527. Apply a small amount of

lubrication to the bead area of the
tire.

528. Reverse the position of the

dual roller, wide roller against rim.
Apply a small amount of down
pressure.

529. Position the bead lock assist

tool about 6 to 8-inches right of the
roller.

530. Rotate the tire/rim about

180 degrees and stop and observe
the bead mounting; if OK, apply
more downward force to the rim.

531. Rotate the tire/rim another

90 degrees and stop, this gives the
bead time to relax and began to roll
into place. Rotate the tire/rim about
another 45 degrees and the bead
should snap into location.

532. Once the bead is in posi-

tion, twist the manual bead lock
device from the rim.

533. Invert the tire/wheel so the

outside is UP. Tighten the hub nut.

534. Apply small amount of rub-

ber lubricant to the bead of the tire
making sure the rubber lubricant is
on the underside of the tire bead.
This bead rolls into place and the
rubber lubricant helps prevent any
bead damage.

535. Position the small roller on

the rim and apply a moderate down
force.

536. Place the manual bead lock

device onto the rim 6 to 8-inches to
the right of the roller system.
