The original three position connector with its two leads in positions 11 & 12 is to be
removed and discarded. Seal these two positions with seal plugs that were removed
from other positions in the 12 pin connector.
Reversing polarity; (This step is only required if an E3F actuator is installed on an EB_J
Jamesbury butterfly valve.) Reverse wires in positions 6 and 7 in the 12 pin connector
for the E3F actuator. Move the red wire and contact to position 6 and the black wire and
contact to position 7.
Final wiring check; Check that all unused connector positions have seal plugs in them,
that wires are in the correct positions in their connectors, and that their contacts are
locked securely into the connectors and can not come back out.
Valve calibration; Auto calibrate the valve per the instructions on page 8 of the manual.
Operation; Check operation of the valve. (See section Vl on page15 of the manual.)
