Gap as Shown on Mold Tag (See Step 3)

Gap (As Shown on Mold Tag)

Prior to making a connection, read and follow the full instruction sheets IPP, IPX,

IPRNS (included only with molds used on rail property not to rail) and the special

instructions below.

Position crown socket in mold as shown.

1.

Gap cable and crown socket under center of tap hole (see mold tag for gap).

2.

If no gap is required, butt cable and crown socket under center of tap hole.

3.

When using sleeve, let cable protrude .13” [3 mm] beyond end of sleeve.

Note: End of crown socket must be cleaned. Use card cloth brush or rough file.
