Prior to making a connection, read and follow the full instruction sheet IPRF, the full
instruction sheet shipped with CADWELD (IPX), and special instructions below.
Clamp bottom of mold to rail using vise grips.
1.
Position hole in lug over hex head screw in bottom of mold (As shown above).
2.
This will gap lug .25" [6.4 mm] from rail.
Lock top sections of mold together using "E-Z" change handles.
3.
Position mold top on mold bottom.

Lock top and bottom sections together using frame toggles.
5.
Pack all openings between mold and rail, which may leak molten metal with

ERICO packing material.
After completion of weld and waiting period, unlatch toggle clamps and vise

grips and remove mold bottom first (As shown above).
Open "E-Z" change handle clamp on top section of mold and remove mold.
8.
Note: Care should be exercised when removing mold from rail to prevent chipping of
graphite parts.
