Overview
This document covers the use of a DIN Rail Enclosure Installation Kit (ETC Part# 7180A1004)
which includes:
• Rugged 14”x14” junction box
• Ground bus bar
• Three one-foot pieces of 18GA wire (red, black & green)
Installation
It is recommended that you remove any electronics before drilling holes in the enclosure. Remove
any metal shavings from the enclosure before installing electronics and connecting power.
Step 1: Use the angle iron on
both ends of the box to
securely mount the box to a
rigid location.
Step 2: Mount the DIN rail
products on the provided DIN
rail. If you are using Power
over Ethernet (PoE IEEE
802.3af) to power the Mosaic
Show Controller, skip steps 3 -
6 and reference the note
below.
Step 3: Land the mains power
on the DC power supply and
connect the incoming Ground
wire to the bus bar.
Step 4: Connect the power
supply to the ground bus bar.
Step 5: Connect the dc power
supply to the Mosaic Controller
(or other device) using the wire
supplied as follows:
• DC Pos.(+) = red
• DC Neg.(-)( ) = black
• Chassis( ) = green
Step 6: Finish installation as
specified in the installation
manual provided with the DIN
mounted products.
N o t e :
Optional 48V Power Supply kit (7180A1300) is available as needed to power the
Mosaic Show Controller and accessories.
N o t e :
If using PoE, the device must be grounded. Connect the supplied ground wire
(green/yellow) to the product or DIN rail grounding clamp.
