CARE AND USE OF THE PRE-FILTER/RAIN SOCK
•
Küryakyn uses only oiled gauze filters from K&N and AFE. These filters
remain fully functional and effective in rain and inclement weather.
• The Pre-Filter/Rain Sock can be used:
• If riding in the rain for extended periods of time
• To help keep insects and other debris from accumulating on the gauze
filter
• To reduce exposure of the gauze filter to soapy water or high pressure
spray when washing the motorcycle.
• The Pre-Filter/Rain Sock is made from water repellant and UV resistant
fabric.
•
The Pre-Filter/Rain Sock will filter debris down to .005 size particles.
• The Pre-Filter/Rain Sock should be removed and cleaned with hot soapy
water and rinsed with clean water once a month or every 3000 miles if
used on a continuous basis.
Ensure that the installation of this product does not
interfere with the proper operation of the motorcycle
before riding.
Constant contact of the Pre-Filter/Rain Sock and the Mach 2
or Alley Cat cover can cause damage to the finish of the
Mach 2 or Alley Cat cover.
During extended use of the Pre-Filter/Rain Sock, dirt and grime may collect
between it and the Mach 2 or Alley Cat cover. This will cause damage to the air
cleaner finish. Make sure to remove and clean the Pre-Filter Rain Sock on a regular
basis.
Use of the Pre-Filter/Rain Sock may slightly reduce air flow and horsepower.
Use of this Pre-Filter/Rain Sock may cause scratches or dulling of the finish of the
air cleaner cover. Küryakyn WILL NOT be responsible for incidental or
consequential damages from the use of this Pre-Filter/Rain sock.
