STEP 2 Refer to PIC 1 . Remove the existing air cleaner so that the induction module is
completely exposed.
STEP 3 Install the two included Breather Bolts as shown in PIC 2; leave them loose until
both have been started in their threads. Tighten the Bolts.
STEP 4 Refer to PIC 3. Thread the two included 90 Degree Hose Fittings into the threaded
holes on top of the included Aluminum Adapter Ring. The Fittings should face the
opposite direction of each other.
STEP 5 Press the included O-Ring for Adapter into the groove in the backside of the
Adapter Ring; ensure the O-Ring fully seats in the groove.
STEP 6 Refer to PIC 3. Mount the provided Breather Hoses to the Hose Fittings on the
Adapter Ring.
Test fit the complete assembly on the induction module flange; connect the open
ends of the Hoses to the Breather Bolts installed in
STEP 3 .
NOTE:
It may be necessary to trim the Hoses to length to get the
best fit. Make sure that the hoses are not pinched or kinked.
STEP 7 Refer to PIC 3. Attach the Adapter Ring to the induction module flange using the
included 1/4”-20 x 7/8" Socket Head Cap Screws. Ensure the O-Ring remains in
place on the backside.
STEP 8 Remove the backing from the included Gasket with Adhesive, align the three
holes, and attach it to the Adapter Ring.

Completely disassemble the included Velociraptor Assembly. Note
that it will be reassembled in reverse order.
STEP 10 Locate the Black Cone. Refer to PIC 4. Align the Black Cone with the Adapter Ring
(only three of the holes will line up with the Adapter); secure it using the three
included 1/4”-20 x 5/8" Socket Head Cap Screws.
STEP 11 Refer to FIG1. Snap the Plastic Cone into place in the Black
Cone. Ensure it is secure before continuing with the installa-
tion.
STEP 12
Refer to FIG 1. Place the Filter Element over the Plastic Cone;
secure it with the Steel Mesh and the Outer Trim Ring. Align
the holes in the Mesh, Outer Trim Ring, and Black Cone; se-
cure the assembly with the five included 1/4”-20 x 1/2”
Socket Head Cap Screws.
STEP 13 Double check the tightness of all fasteners, check for
hose clearance and check the throttle for proper opera-
tion, making sure it returns properly, before starting
bike.

installation. Do not attempt to perform this installation if
you are not confident in your ability to complete all of the
steps in the procedure; consult a trained technician.

BREATHER BOLTS
Refer to PIC 1. Ensure that the bike is equipped with an
induction module bracket BEFORE installing the air cleaner.
If not equipped, use Kuryakyn P/N 9929 Chrome Twin Cam
Intake Support Bracket or HD P/N 27711-08 (both sold
separately).
Apply Loctite 242 (sold separately) or equivalent thread
locker to the Breather Bolts. Follow the manufacturer’s rec-
ommendation for proper preparation and application.
