STEP 2
Install the Mini Bullets at the location you choose or on brackets that you supply. The Mini Bullet
uses a 3/8”–16 hollow bolt for mounting as well as a flat washer, and a rubber washer to protect
painted surfaces. Tighten the light securely, but don’t over do it.
It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including
pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will
not provide warranty coverage on products or components lost due to improper
installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic inspection and maintenance are
required on all fasteners.
STEP 3
Route the wires neatly out of harms way.
Secure all wiring away from any moving parts, pinch points or extreme heat.
Küryakyn WILL NOT issue a warranty on any electrical component that fails due to
pinched, crimped, broken, abraded, melted or frayed wires.
WIRING FOR FRONT OR REAR APPLICATIONS:
NOTE:
Because these L.E.D. Mini Bullets light AMBER in color, they may only be used as
additional TURN SIGNAL LIGHTING when installed on the REAR of motorcycles.
STEP 4
Locate the wire harness that goes to the turn signals (front or rear, depending on the location of
the Mini Bullets) or if used as running lights (front use only) a “keyed” 12 volt power wire.
STEP 5 Using a test light, or the wiring schematic for your motorcycle, locate the left and right turn signal
wires (for use as turn signals), a “keyed” 12 volt power wire (for use as running lights-front only)
and a good ground wire (you may also use the frame of most motorcycles for the ground). Mark
these for reference. Turn the bike “off” and disconnect the battery.
Avoid potential electrical shock! Disconnect the battery before starting
this procedure.
STEP 6 Locate the wire harnesses from the Mini Bullet Light. Determine if you are going to use the Mini
Bullet Lights for turn signals or running lights.
For use as turn signals (front or rear): splice the VIOLET wire from the left Mini Bullet to the
wire marked left turn from Step 5. Splice the VIOLET wire from the right Mini Bullet to the wire
marked right turn in Step 5. Splice both BLACK wires from the Mini Bullet Lights to the ground
wire or ground location from Step 5.
For use as running lights (front only): splice the VIOLET wires from the Mini Bullets to the
“keyed” 12 volt power wire marked in Step 5. Splice both BLACK wires to the ground wire or
ground location from Step 5.
STEP 7 Connect the battery. Start the motorcycle and test all lights.
ENSURE PROPER LIGHT OPERATION BEFORE RIDING THE MOTORCYCLE.
VISIBILITY IS A MAJOR CONCERN FOR MOTORCYCLISTS. A LIGHT
MALFUNCTION COULD RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.
