ERGO III ROTATING ARM ADJUSTMENT:



STEP 19

With the motorcycle on the center stand or secured to a lift table, get on the motorcycle and test
the positioning of the Ergo III arms and pegs for fit and function.





STEP 20

The Ergo III Adjustable Cruise Mount has been pre-assembled in the shortest leg position. If you
need more leg room, remove the two 1/4”-20 X 1 1/8” Button Head screws, Nylock Nuts and one
or both of the plug screws. PIC 11 Adjust the Arm length to your comfort and reinstall the screws.
Torque the screws to 10 FT/LBS. Install the two Nylock Nuts. Install the plug screws as
needed. Refer to PIC 11 for the proper use of the plug screws. Torque the plug screws to 10
FT/LBS.


STEP 21

Confirm that the pegs fit and function properly BEFORE riding the motorcycle. The Ergo III Ad-
justable Cruise Arms MUST return on their own when your feet are removed from the pegs.


OPTIONAL HORIZONTAL FIXED-POSITION INSTALLATION:

STEP 22

The Ergo III Adjustable Cruise Mounts can be assembled as stationary footrests. Remove the 1/2”
screw from the Arm assembly. Take the Arm off of the mount and replace the Spring and Bush-
ings with the included Fixed Position Stoppers. Reapply Loctite Threadlocker Blue 248 to the
threads of the 1/2” screw and torque to 30 FT/LBS. Follow Loctite’s recommendations for proper
application. Refer to STEPS 3 through 7 for reinstallation. Ensure that the End Cap remains
aligned with the nose of the Helix while the screw is tightened. Repeat for the other side.

ERGO III ADJUSTABLE CRUISE MOUNT CARE:

Do not wash with a pressure washer. The water pressure may remove the grease.

Periodic greasing may be necessary to maintain proper function.

INSTALLATION

THE ROTATING ARM CAN BE POSITIONED IN A WAY THAT
GREATLY DECREASES CORNERING CLEARANCE WHICH MAY CAUSE

LOSS OF CONTROL RESULTING IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
ENSURE THAT THE ROTATING ARM IS POSITIONED PARALLEL TO

OR ABOVE THE ENGINE GUARD WHEN IN THE UNLOADED POSI-
TION. REMOVE YOUR FEET FROM THE FOOTPEG WHEN CORNER-

ING TO AVOID LOSS OF CONTROL.

It is the end user’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners
(including pre-assembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcy-
cle. Küryakyn will not provide warranty coverage on products or compo-
nents lost due to improper installation or lack of maintenance. Periodic in-
spection and maintenance are required on all fasteners.
