STAINING

Drawer into which SLIDE RACKS are placed by the user and from which
they are taken by the instrument for STAINING.

The IMMERSION TIME is achieved within –0, + infinity seconds, i.e. it speci-
fies a minimum time period only.

STATION through which warm air is blown in order to dry SLIDES and ad-
here tissue sections to them.

Personal computer based on the original IBM architecture.

The SLIDE RACK is withdrawn from a STATION by the HEAD in such a way
as to minimize CARRYOVER.
