Lightforce LiFePO4 Batteries - Manual

The Lightforce Lithium Iron Phosphate Portable Power Pack comprises of a 7.5 amp hr zero
maintenance (sealed battery pack) including dedicated mains charger fitted with a cigarette socket for
convenient direct connection to Lightforce lighting systems.
The battery requires no fluid adjustments and will not leak if carried in any orientation.
This 12 volt battery can be used as a replacement battery for the standard SLA 7 – 9 amp hr as the
external dimensions are the same.
Built within this battery is an onboard battery monitoring system that monitors the individual cells then
calculates total remaining capacity via the onboard LED display.
Charging the Battery:
The 7.5 amp hr battery is transported with the terminals insulated. Before connecting to the Lightforce
battery bag, remove the insulation from the terminals and discard.
To fully recharge the battery pack, connect the specialised universal mains power supply directly into
the female cigarette socket located on the bag. The battery is supplied with a float charge and will
require initial charging before use.
The AC mains chargers LED indicator will illuminate red indicating the charging process has
commenced, the battery pack is fully charged once the LED indicator turns solid green.
Disconnect the charger from the battery pack and the AC mains outlet once the charging process is
completed.
DO NOT leave the charger connected to the battery pack for extended periods, once the battery has
been charged.

• Over discharge protected
• Over current protected 30 amps
• Short circuit protection
• Internal thermostat protection +65°C +/- 5°C
• Battery voltage cut off 9.2 ~10 volts
• Replaceable 30 amp mini blade automotive fuse
Precautions:
• DO NOT disassemble the battery pack
• DO NOT short circuit battery pack for extended periods
• For optimal long term performance the battery pack should be recharged immediately after use
and stored in the UP-RIGHT position in a cool dry location
• USE ONLY LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery chargers
