There are two thumb screws that attach

the bracket to the trim panel. Start by

loosening the thumb screws so there is

enough space to slide the brackets onto the

trim panel.

Remove one of the brackets by loosening the

large single thumb screw on one end. Then

slide the remaining bracket onto the trim

panel, close to the middle of the seat belt

cover.

Next slide the other bracket onto the trim

panel. Again about in the middle of the seat

belt cover, so the wind deflector panel can be

reattached to the bracket.

Next tighten the two thumb screws on each

side tightly. You might consider using a small

pair of pliers. This is a very tight space.

Your wind deflector can be left in place while raising and lowering the top. It can also be quickly

removed and put in the storage bag to store in the trunk.

The final step is to attach the snap hook

strap to the metal anchor at the bottom of

the passenger seat back.

Then attach the large thumb screws on each end

to the hole in the wind deflector to the bracket.

Now tighten all the small thumb screws.
