Next you will need to attach the tube

brackets to your Miata. The photo below

shows the tube bracket, silver screw which

will replace the plastic piece that you just

removed and the black screw was already in

place in your car.

The last step is to attach the two elastic

straps with the snaps on them, to the

floor of the back seat.

If your car does not have the snaps,

attach the straps with the velcro backing

and attach them to the carpet.

The tube bracket is attached to the inside of

your car using the silver screw which goes into

the top hole where you removed the plastic

cover. And the bottom screw which was

already in place. You will only have to do this

the first time you install the wind deflector.

You don't have to remove this bracket.

The shaft bracket which is attached to

the wind deflector then slides into the

tube bracket that you just mounted, on

both sides of your car.

Please note

that the tube

brackets point

toward the

back of your

Miata.

The wind

deflector is

supported by

the shaft

bracket and

sits behind the

tube brackets.
