Instructions for Hoop Jams

Note - Remove the plastic tab from between the battery contacts in battery compartment to
activate the sounds.

Attaching to Waste Container

Clips are identified by the round orange button on one side.
1. Slide one clip on into each channel on bottom of backboard. Make sure the clip is completely

installed by pushing until click is heard.

2. Rotate bottom half of clips so round orange basketball “button” is on back side of backboard.
3. Squeeze clips to mount on waste container. Push clip as far down as possible

on container edge.

Attaching Over Door

Hooks are “U” shaped with a small knob on side of the “U”.
1. Attach door hooks to back of backboard by inserting small knob on clip in corresponding hole

in middle of backboard. Slide the hook knob up into the channel as far as possible for secure fit.

2. Hang over door or other fixed panel and adjust clip width by sliding the two parts of the hook

farther apart or closer together to fit tightly.

Operation

1. Fold Rim Down - hold rim firmly with one hand on each side close to backboard.

Rotate downward until the rim is in place (approximate 90° angle from backboard).

2. CAUTION - Avoid pushing the rim down too far (past 90°), grasping from the

front only or applying too much force - this could break the rim.

3. Press the orange button on lower front right side to start the song Rock ‘N Roll Part 2.
4. Shoot ball into hoop - commentary will play every time the spring moves.

Note - the sounds will “sleep” automatically after a few minutes of inactivity.
Pushing the orange button or moving the spring will start the sounds again.
Rock ’N Roll Part 2 will only play when the button is pushed.

Battery Replacement

1. Slide open cover of battery compartment on back of backboard.
2. Replace batteries - 3 “AA” (alkaline preferred) with correct polarity.
3. Replace batter cover and slide shut. Be sure cover is completely closed before using.
