This Introduction provides a brief overview of the supplied equipment. It is not
intended as a substitute for formal training. MTS strongly recommends formal
classroom training at the MTS facility in hardware and software operation and
maintenance.

- System Start-up and shut down.
- Emergency and safety features - Emergency Stop,
crosshead limits, test area enclosure, and location
of circuit breakers/fuses.
- Connecting transducer, which includes methods of
safe handling, selecting capacity for proper
application, and calibrating.
- Login into TestWorks


A4.2 Using TestWorks, the basics.
- Accessing and using the Help System.
- Set up user login names & manage the data.
- Configure the user interface such as the
appearance of meters, graphs, and sash positions.
- Setting up additional transducers within the
TestWorks software.

