E. Prepare the two TO30000 housings for installation part II):
1. Check each filter cartridge to:
a. Confirm that the white rubber washer is in the groove around the filter nipple (top of filter)
and that the two black orings are in place on the nipple.
b. Confirm that the white rubber washer is in the groove in the center of the bottom cap on the
filter.
2. Insert the filter nipple in the center port in the housing top. When the filter is fully insert, it should
stay in place.
3. Check the large oring around the mouth of the housing bottom to confirm that it is in place.
4. Reconnect the housing top and bottom by sliding the bottom up and over the filter. Turn the housing bottom until it is
tightly sealed.

Start-up and Use of Your Whole House Water Treatment System
To Operate the Bypass Valve
1. Close the shut-off valve between the flushing hose bibb faucet
and the house water supply line.
2. Open the flushing hose bibb faucet and attach a garden hose
to it for flushing purposes.
3. Push in the bar (lever) on the Bypass Valve marked "PUSH TO BYPASS" (this diverts
the water to and through the Bypass Valve).
4. Turn on the main water supply. Check for leaks.
5. Allow water to flow through the Bypass Valve and through the flushing hose bibb faucet to
waste for approximately one (1) minute to flush any debris from the pipes. Then turn off
the flushing hose bibb faucet.
To Operate the TO30000 System
1. Reopen the hose bibb faucet with garden hose attached for flushing.
2. Push in the bar (lever) marked "PUSH FOR SERVICE" (this diverts the water to and through the TO30000). Again,
check for leaks.
3. Press and hold, simultaneously, the red air vent buttons on both units while the units are filling with water to assure
that all air escapes from the housings. Hold the buttons until a steady stream of water escapes from both units.
4. Allow the water to flow to waste at the open hose bibb faucet for about 5 minutes to flush the filters.
5. Then turn off the flushing hose bibb faucet.
6. Once again, check all connections to confirm that there are no leaks.

Open the shut-off valve between the flushing bibb faucet and the house water supply line. Now water will flow
through your TO30000 unit and into your home.
