Perfom machine inspection as listed in Table 6.

Tightening Torque

Reference Table 7 below (Tightening Torque ), for retight-

ening of nuts and bolts.

Bolt threads used with this machine are all right handed

Material and quality of material is marked on each bolt, and screw.

engine air Cleaner

This engine is equipped with a replaceable, high-density

paper air cleaner element. See (Figure 23) for air cleaner

components.
1. Remove the air cleaner cover and foam filter element.
2. Tap the paper filter element several times on a hard

surface to remove dirt, or blow compressed air not

exceeding 30 psi (207 kPa, 2.1 kgf/cm

2

) through the

filter element from the inside out.

dirt. Brushing will force dirt into the fibers. Replace the

paper filter element if it is excessively dirty.
