Liquidates Mesa Air Group [MESA] is exploring the
benefits of aligning with a low-cost carrier to create a low-
cost hub operation in Charlotte, N.C., if codeshare partner
US Airways [UAIRQ] is forced to liquidate. Mesa had
been looking into the possibility of leasing Boeing 737s in
Charlotte and using Mesa regional jets as feed if US
Airways goes out of business. But that has been put on
hold because Mesa has not been able to negotiate below-
industry average wage rates with pilots prior to leasing the
