5.5.2
Closing Platforms (Standard Position)
This procedure describes how to close the cab-forward left
platform (A). The same procedure is used to close the right
platform (B).

1. If platform is latched in the open position, push latch (A)
to unlock it.
2. Grasp handle (B) on platform and push forward until it
stops and latch (A) engages.

Opening Platforms (Major Service Position)
To improve access to the hydraulics plumbing or battery, the platforms can be swung away from the windrower.
1. Open the hood. Refer to
IMPORTANT:
Failure to open hood will result in damage to the
hood when the platform is moved.
