INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

RECESSED AISLE LIGHT 93047, 93147

1.

Install the conduit (by others) to align with tapped hole to be used in the

J-Box

2. Remove faceplate.
3. To install housing for concrete pour, fasten mounting brackets to

reinforcing steel or other structure. For drywall construction, frame in

the housing as required. The housing should be flush with the finished

wall surface for both wet and drywall construction (Fig. 2).

4. Remove the ballast cover plate and the J-Box cover plate.
5. Remove J-Box cover plate. Remove appropriate knockout and

assemble appropriate connector for the supply wire used. Connect

ground wires to green ground leads. Connect white (common) to white

(leads). Connect power supply (line) to the transformer leads marked

120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 347V, or 480V, dependant or line voltage and

COM. All disconnected transformer leads must be capped off. Reinstall

J-Box cover.

WARNING: DO NOT pinch wires between J-Box/ballast cover and

J-Box. Consult a Qualified Electrician for all other options that

require other wiring configurations.

Replace the ballast cover plate.

6. Reassemble the faceplate.

CAUTION: If through branch circuit conductors are

pulled through the junction box, please use extreme

caution so as not to damage or disconnect thermal

protection wiring. Do not modify or defeat the thermal

protection circuit designed into the fixture.

CONSTRUCTION

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION. READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. Follow label information

and instructions concerning Wet or Damp Locations, installation near combustible materials, insulation, building materials,

the manufacturer or installed contrary to instructions may cause an unsafe condition. Do not block light emanating from

product in whole or part, as this may cause an unsafe condition. Do not allow items such as drapes, curtains, screens or

the like to come into contact with the product or to block light from the product, as this may cause an unsafe condition.
