Installation Guide for Installing
S&S® Spring Kits on 7mm Valve Stems
In all applications, the installed height for the S&S .650” lift
Beehive™ springs is 1.860” and 1.800” for the .585” Sidewinder®
springs. When installing the S&S Sidewinder® .585” lift or .650” Lift
Beehive™ spring kits on 7mm valve stems please refer to the diagram
below. For both the .585” and the .650” spring kits, the keepers
must be located in the groove closest to the tip of the valve. Any
other groove will yield the incorrect installed height and may cause
premature valve train failure. S&S is not responsible for incorrect
installation. Consult an S&S dealer or S&S Sales Representative if
you have any doubts as to the correct installation of this product.
