S&S Air Cleaner Element No. 17-0376

After extensive testing, S&S has chosen Air Cleaner Element #17-0376
to replace previous elements. Element #17-0376 provides increased
air flow while at the same time improving filtration of materials potentially
harmful to the engine. Filter #17-0376 captures particles as small as
10 microns.

Installation

1. Remove air cleaner cover and old element.

2. Install element #17-0376. Flat side goes against air cleaner

backplate. Insure that element goes around outside edge of
locating tang at 9 o’clock position on backplate. Rounded side
of element with S&S Part # goes toward outside. Correctly
installed element will remain in place on backplate without
support.

3. Taking care not to dislodge element, replace air cleaner cover

and tighten screws securely.

Note - Filter #17-0376 utilizes an element that is not washable. It must
be replaced when soiled enough to impair performance. Replacement
filters are available from S&S Cycle and other aftermarket sources.
