1. Assemble S&S ® VFI Fuel Rail and Fuel Line
a. Install new O-ring onto the fuel line. Use care to
not tear the O-ring. Ensure plastic back-up
washer is located correctly.
(See Picture 3.)
b. Secure fuel line into position with Torx head
screw and retaining plate.
2. Install Injectors into fuel rail and manifolds.
NOTES:
●
● Apply a thin coat of Vaseline or clean engine oil to each
injector O-ring before assembly.
● ● Injectors are interchangeable from front to rear.
● ● Install Injectors with the electrical connector facing up.
a Install rear injector by carefully inserting a fuel
injector into the rear fuel rail injector cap, then insert
the other end of the injector into the rear manifold
injector boss. Injector O-rings should pop into
each connection.

b. Install front injector by carefully inserting a fuel
injector into the front fuel rail injector cap, then insert
the other end of the injector into the front manifold
injector boss Injector O-rings should pop into
each connection.

c. Attach the fuel rail and injector to the rear intake
manifold using the button head

"-20 screws.
Tighten to 10-11 ft-lbs (120-135 in-lbs). See
Picture 5.
d. The manifold and fuel rail assembly is now ready
to attach to the engine. Handle the assembly with
care, the front manifold is secured only by tension
of the injector O-rings until the assembly is
attached to the engine.
C. Assemble S&S VFI Throttle Body
Familiarize yourself with the similarities and differences
between the stock and S&S Fuel injection assemblies
before proceeding with assembly.
