NOTE: THE STEERING STOPS MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED AFTER THE INSTALLATION OF THIS DUAL SHOCK

KIT TO AVOID INTERFERENCE WITH THE SHOCK WHEN YOU TURN FULL LEFT OR FULL RIGHT.

Installation:

1. Park the vehicle on flat level ground, set the emergency brake, & block the front tires / wheels.

2. Raise the Drivers Side of the vehicle & remove the front tire / wheel. Remove the OEM shock at

the lower mount.

3. Position the new upper mount at the rear of the OEM spring tower. (See Illustration) Align the new

upper mount with the center of the spring tower. Position, mount, & drill two 3/8” holes & bolt in

place using the supplied 3/8” hardware.

NOTE: You may weld the bracket in place if you prefer.

4. Place the OEM shock on the other side of the lower mount on the frame side. Place the supplied

spacer inside the OEM lower mount. Place the second shock on the outside of the lower mount

on the wheel side. Insert the supplied 1/2" x 6 1/2" bolt through both shocks & lower mount. When

completed, one shock should be on each side of the lower mount with the spacer inside the OEM

mount. Install both shocks & tighten all bolts.

5. Repeat the above steps on the opposite side.

6. Once all shocks are installed, check all components for proper clearance. Retorque all hardware

after the first 100 miles & periodically there after.
