Front Triple Shock Kit

Installation Instructions

Part # TS240

Front

Rear

Installation:

1. Park the vehicle on flat level ground, set the emergency brake, & block the rear tires / wheels.

2. To aid in accessibility during the installation, raise the front of vehicle, secure on jack stands, &

remove the front tires / wheels.

3. Place the "U" shaped lower mounting bracket onto the top of the front axle. The legs should face

down, the shock mounting ears up, & the top cross strap to the outside of the vehicle.

4. Slide this mount toward the inside so the top strap is against the edge of the spring. Place a flat

washer on the bolt & install through the bracket. Place another flat washer on bolt, then nut &

tighten.

5. Place the upper hoop against the inside of the frame. On the driver's side for the rear, remove the

existing steering pump bolt & reinsert it through the shock hoop mount, & position the mount

against the top of the coil spring mount & against the front of the frame. Drill holes for the front &

top mounting bolts. Bolt in place with the supplied locknuts, tightening all three mounting bolts

together. On the passenger side, the hole for the forward mounting bolt is already existing, so

with a bolt in it for positioning, line up the top & rear holes, drill & bolt as for the driver's side.

6. Install the shock absorbers. (This mount permits triple shocking by leaving a shock in the OEM

position.)

7. Once all shocks are installed, check all components for proper clearance. Retorque all hardware

after the first 100 miles & periodically there after.

NOTE: CAREFULLY CHECK THE CLEARANCE OF BRAKELINES BETWEEN THE FRONT

SHOCKS & SPRINGS. REROUTING MAY BE NECESSARY TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE

BRAKELINES.
