Strut Arm Bushings
Installation Instructions
Part # SAB20 / SAB85
Installation:
1. Set the camber to the desired angles prior to installation of the eccentric bushings.
2. Loosen the axle pivot bushing nut. (Do Not Remove)
3. Raise the front of vehicle & support the frame rails using jack stands.
4. Remove the front shock from the lower mount.
5. Remove the radius arm rear lock nut, flat washer, rubber bushing, & spacer at the radius arm
bracket. (Discard the synthetic spacer)
6. Move the axle & radius arm forward out of the radius arm bracket, remove the large front rubber
bushing, & radius arm.
7. Clean all rust from the shaft & radius arm bracket.
8. Install the first eccentric bushing (Male) on the radius arm.
9. Rotate the bushing so the alignment tab is pointed towards the bottom for positive caster or to
the top for negative caster.
10. Install the bushing lock as illustrated below.
11. Insert the radius arm shaft through the mounting bracket.
12. Install the second eccentric bushing. Position the alignment tab to match that of the front
bushing.
13. Install the OEM flat washer & lock nut.
14. Torque the axle pivot bolt & nut to 120-150 Ft. Lbs.
15. Torque the radius arm lock nut to 81-120 Ft. Lbs.
16. Bend the tabs of the bushing lock. (Short tab to the bushing & long tab to the bracket.)
17. Install the lower shock mounting bolt & lower the vehicle to the ground.
