Camber Shim

Part # 1043H

Installation:

1. Remove the cotter pin & upper ball joint nut.

Remove the 0 degree sleeve from the upper

ball joint with a large ball joint removing tool

or by tapping it out with a common cold

chisel.

Note: On ball joint studs not using

cotter pins, spray a solvent on the ball joint

stud before removing the nut. (This will soften

the thread lock compound material for easier

removal.) ALWAYS REPLACE AN OLD SELF

LOCKING NUT WITH A NEW ONE.

2. Select the appropriate size sleeve.

3. Use the sample chart to determine the proper

positioning & install the upper ball joint.

4. Tighten the upper ball joint nut to the OEM

specifications & install the cotter pin. Tighten

if necessary.

5. Check & adjust the toe as changes in camber

will affect toe readings.

Note: Bent ball joint

studs, sagging springs, or worn parts may

result in slightly different readings than

expected. Correct as necessary.

6. Check the final settings & road test the

vehicle.
