Annotations for use with signal sources featuring DVI exclusively:
To operate DVI gear with the snakebyte HDMI Selector please use either a customary DVI/HDMI
adaptor (available in stores) in combination with standard HDMI cables, or DVI - HDMI cables. DVI
(Digital Video Interface) is basically compatible with HDMI – only basically because it does not transport
digital audio. Therefore, please use the corresponding optical ports of the HDMI Selector (applies to
signal sources as well as play back devices).

Infrared remote control

1. ON/OFF-Button
2. Channel +/ - Buttons (functionally identical with button no. 4 on the HDMI Selector)
3. Equalizer +/- Buttons (functionally identical with button no. 5 on the HDMI Selector)
4. Direct channel select buttons
5. Battery protector sheet (remove plastic sheet after purchase to activate the remote control)

Security advices for placement and connection

• Place the HDMI Selector onto a stable and even surface. Ideally close-by your play back device

countervailing long cable distances.

• Avoid contact with any liquids as this may lead to short-circuit and further damage. Keep the

HDMI Selector away from vases, open bottles, buckets, etc. – or vice versa.

• The same counts for burning objects such as candles, cigarettes, ashtrays, etc. Fire, heat and

wax may damage the Selector.

• Although the snakebyte HDMI Selector does not emit high operating temperatures, please make
