GETTING STARTED

When you unpack your safe you will find the keys, batteries (4 - 1.5V, AA), and external battery pack packed in the foam packaging.

INSTALLING THE BATTERIES IN THE SAFE

Now that you have opened the door for the first time your next step is to install the batteries in the safe door. You have the choice of using the

batteries from the external battery pack you used to open the door or to purchase a second set of (4) 1.5V, AA alkaline batteries.
First unplug the external battery pack. Do not store the external battery pack in the safe. You may need the external battery pack to open the

safe at later time. Open the battery compartment on the back of the door and install the batteries. The blue display will read "ALREADY" and

then go into standby mode. Keep the door open and proceed to the next step of programming your own combination.
NOTE: Every time you change the batteries you will have to reset the date and time. Your personal combination will remain the same.

PROGRAMMING YOUR OWN COMBINATION

You are now ready to program your own combination. For security, you must reprogram your safe changing the preset factory combination.

Keep the door open the entire time you are programming your combination. Do not shut the door until you have tried the combination several

times and have written your combination on this form.

OPENING THE SAFE THE FIRST TIME

NOTE: An alternate way of opening the safe is to use the trouble key.

Please refer to the Trouble Key Section.
