2009+ CHALLENGER V6 SINGLE CATBACK
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Thanks for purchasing the Stainless Works Single Catback Exhaust for your Challenger
V6. We have gone to great pains to make sure that our exhaust systems fit and sound
great. Please follow these steps to ensure that your installation goes as planned.

Disassembly

1. Disconnect Battery.

2. Raise and support vehicle.

3. Loosen clamps and remove factory exhaust at factory connection point.

4. Remove factory tail hanger.

5. Loosen cross brace on head pipe and two 15 mm bolts.

Installation

1. Install 6” long adaptors and Y-pipe and clamps.

2. Install muffler inlet pipe and muffler and clamps.

3. Install muffler hanger and tail pipe.

4. Install L-bracket on car at farthest forward bolt hole using factory bolt removed earlier.

5. Install tail hanger, using blue grommet bolt to L-bracket.

6. Install tip and tighten clamps and hangers, adjust as needed.

7. Re-connect battery and lower vehicle.

8. Be sure to have adequate clearance around all wires, hoses and lines. If anything

is in contact with the exhaust system, it will melt. Make sure to have at least
½” of clearance and wrap any suspect areas with DEI thermal barrier wrap.

9. After double checking for clearance and making sure all lines, wires and hoses are

secured, drive the car for 10-20 miles and re-check all clamps and clearances.
