PREDIALING FEATURE
When programmed, the telephone supports a pre-dialing feature for calls made on
the Primary Directory Number, or the line corresponding to Feature Key 1 (directly
above the Sp eaker k ey). The p re-dial fe ature al lows user s to enter a numb er
before l ifting the hands et or us ing the he adset or speakerphone f or an o utgoing
call. The user can enter up to 20-digits, which are dialed if the user lifts the hand-
set or presses the Headset On/Off or Speaker keys within 12-seconds of dialing the
last digit.

RELEASE KEY FEATURE
The “RLS” (R ELEASE) k ey i s a har d l ine bre ak. Whe n pre ssed the k ey
automatically di sconnects an exi sting ac tive l ine. There i s n o di al to ne af ter th e
“RLS” key is pressed.
To use, simply press the
“RLS” key when a conversation is complete.
VOLUME CONTROL
(Ring, Speaker, Headset, Handset)
The Sp ectrum PLUS
TM DC550 i s e quipped w ith an ADA/FCC c ompliant vo lume
control located on the front of the phone.
To adjust the volume, press the right end of the
“VOLUME” key and the volume is
increased. When the left end of t he “VOLUME” key is pressed, the volume is de-
creased.
The
“VOLUME” key is a sixteen-step volume control.
