Trim-Tex Step A Bull - Manual

Step 1: Set back your drywall as shown in Table A.
Step 2: For the highest strength bond, spray the bead and drywall with a medium coat
of 847 Spray Adhesive (the only approved adhesive for Trim-Tex bead installation). If
you find it easier to spray the drywall only, spray a medium-heavy coat on the drywall.
This method isn’t as strong as spraying both surfaces. Immediately (while the 847 is still
wet) install the bead making sure the mud legs are sitting flat against the drywall and
there is no air gap between the drywall and the bead. To ensure proper bond, pressure
the mud legs twice using the FREE Trim-Tex Installation Tool or handle of your hammer.
Step 3: Staple the mud legs every 6" with 1 /
2
" divergent staples (available only at your
Trim-Tex dealer). Reapply pressure to the mud legs as needed to guarantee a proper
bond. Securely attaching the bead minimizes the chance of edge cracking. DO NOT
install the bead with nails or drywall screws.
Step Adapter
Step 1: Clean adapter and step a bull of all dirt and dust.
Step 2: Liberally apply Trim-Tex 847 Adhesive spray to the inside radius edge of the
step adapter.
Step 3: Position Step Adapter on the Step A Bull. For baseboards 4” or taller you may
have to position the Adapter a few inches off the floor.
Step 4: Use pressure to hold the adapter in place until the adhesive sets.

Primer paso: Instale la tablaroca siguiendo las instrucciones de el recuadro A.
Segundo paso: Para una mejor aplicación, aplique pegamento a las extremidades perforadas del esquinero y a la tablaroca con pega-
mento en aerosol 847 marca Trim-Tex. (El unico pegamento aprovado para la instalacion de los productos Trim-Tex). Si le es mas facil
aplicar pegamento a la tablaroca, aplique dos capas medianas de pegamento. Este proceso no es tan efectivo como al aplicar una capa
a cada superficie. Inmediatamente instale el esquinero mientras el pegamento se encuentra humedo y asegurese de que las extremi-
dades del esquinero se encuentran firmes sobre la tablaroca y no existen espacios entre la extremidad del esquinero y la tablaroca. Para
asegurarse de que el pegamento funcione apropiadamente, precione las extremidades del esquinero con la herramienta de aplicacion
o con el mango de su martillo.
Tercer paso: Engrape las extremidades cada 6 pulgadas con grapas divergentes de ½" por ½" (Disponibles en su agencia autorizada
Trim-Tex). Precione las extremiddades nuevamente para asegurar una mejor union del esquinero a la tablaroca. Instalar el esquinero
apropiadamente, disminuira las posibilidades de reventaduras en el futuro. NO instale el esquinero con tornillos o clavos.
Adaptador del Step-a-Bull
Paso 1: Limpie el adaptador y el step-a-bull de toda tierra y polvo.
Paso 2: Aplique pegamento en aerosol 847 marca Trim-Tex al radio interior del adaptador.
Paso 3: Posicione el adaptador al Step-A-Bull. Para bases de 4" o mas grandes, usted tendra que posicionar el adaptador unas pulgadas
arriba del piso.
Paso 4: Ponga presion en el adaptador para detenerlo en su lugar hasta que el pegamento se seque.
