10. FAQ

The sound quality cuts in / out from my headphones, how can I fix or
replace them?
Make sure that the headphones are adjusted and plugged in correctly.
If problem still continues please go to: www.h2oaudio/returns.php
for further instructions on how to receive replacement headphones.

1.

The sound quality seems muffled, what can I do to fix this problem?
1. Purchase some wax earplugs (they cost about $0.99) from your
local drug store.
2. Rip a piece of the wax and roll it into a cylinder long enough to go
around the circumference of the largest barb of the earplug.
3. Wrap the cylinder of wax around the largest barb of the earplug.
This creates a custom mold to you ear and will help prevent
water from entering the ear and muffling the sound.

2.

How can I make my headphone cord longer?
1. Separate the ear-clips from the neckband.
2. Remove the cord located within the track of the neckband carefully.
3. Where the wire splits, there is a block. Firmly and carefully pull
down as far as you need.
4. Slowly pull the two wires apart and it will stop at the block.

NOTE: Make sure the earplugs are securely in place before proceeding with use.

Align earplug with the speaker.

1.

Invert the wide opening of the earplug.

2.

Place the inverted earplug directly against the speaker shield.

3.

Wrap the earplug around the speaker until it holds securely.

4.

The H2O Audio Headphones include removable earplugs designed to
keep water from freely flowing in and out of the ear canal during use.
For the best performance, the earplug needs to complete a seal with the
walls of your inner ear. Modifying both the length of the earplug and its
angle of insertion are crucial steps in completing a seal.

To customize earplugs and obtain an optimal fit use scissors to cut off the
barbs one by one until desired fit. Ensure a clean cut, and remove any
debris from the earplug prior to inserting into the ear.

8. Connecting the Headphones

TM

TM

The SealTight Connector (which is only featured on the H2O Audio
Series Housings) is what keeps your audio connection safe and dry
underwater. It is designed specifically to create a seal around the H2O
Audio Series Waterproof Headphones (sold separately). Using any other
headphones will not have a complete waterproof connection, and
reduces the waterproof rating to water-resistant.

1.

To create a waterproof connection, align the 3.5mm stereo plug on the
headphones with the stereo jack of the housing.

2.

Insert the headphones into the stereo jack of the housing, ensuring
that the plug mates securely into the SealTight Connector.
When plugging the headphones into the housing, rotate the plug
a quarter turn as you insert it into the jack, this will release any air
bubbles or pressure from the connection.

CAUTION: The SV Series Headphones do not fit
with the SealTight

TM

Connector boot featured on

the H2O Audio Series housings. If your
headphones have a connector that looks like the
one shown below, you can not use them with the
H2O Audio Series Housings.
