Terminal Assignments

Secure any external connections that mate to this equipment by
using screws, sliding latches, threaded connectors, or other
means provided with this product.

ATTENTION

The terminal block assignments are different for different
terminal base units. The following table applies only to the
XM-946. Refer to the installation instructions for the specific
terminal base unit for its terminal assignments.

IMPORTANT

The primary 24V dc needs to be wired to terminal 0 to
provide power to XM-946 and other XM modules located on
the DIN rail. Terminal 3 should be used if a second, or
redundant, power supply is needed. Note that terminal 3
provides redundant power only to the XM-946. It does not
serve other terminal base units.
