I/O Connections
FiDO Converter Inputs/Outputs
Note: The “lock” indicator for optical receivers (-R, -2R, and -TR models) may flicker or
glow dim with the optical input disconnected.
Installation
Note: AJA does not support use of any SFP modules other than our own; use of any
non-AJA SFP module will void the warranty.
Installation consists of the following steps:
1. Connect video equipment to the FiDO convertor Optical fiber connector and
BNCs. On dual units, or the transceiver, either two “Simplex” (single) cables can
be used, or a single “Duplex” cable.
Caution!
All FiDO devices require the use of “single mode 1310nm compatible” fiber optic
cable.
