Information about

Berlebach Ash Wood Tripods

Dear customer,

you have chosen to buy a Berlebach Ash Wood Tripod. We are pleased you made that very
wise choice, and can assure you that this product has been manufactured with great care
by highly skilled employees using first class ash wood combined with top quality metal and
plastic components.

Wood has received its own certificate of authenticity by nature. It‘s a naturally grown raw
material and so it cannot possibly have a uniform colour, structure and porosity. Although
we make every endeavour to ensure that parts are well matched, a natural graining of the
tripod legs is no cause for complaint.

If you observe the following instructions, this tripod will reward you with valuable service.

At the centre part, to which the tripod legs are attached,
there is a knurled lockin adjuster that engages when turned
and limits the spread of the tripod legs.

If the white area is visible, the spread angle is approx. 20°
(normal position). If the area marked red is visible, leg
spread is approx. 45°.

If you turn the adjuster to its third, unmarked position
(between the white and red areas), the tripod legs can be
spread to any angle.

With this tripod, you can also work outdoors, and in any
weather conditions. After finishing work in wet weather, you
should wipe off the worst of the moisture with a soft, absorbent cloth, and then allow the
tripod to dry for about 24 hours at room temperature. Please do not place the tripod close
to any direct source of heat as this will cause it to dry out unevenly.

Please note that the wood will begin to dry if the tripod is set up and left standing in a low
humidity room over a lengthy period of time. It is therefore advisable to check the screws
locking the extended tripod legs, and to tighten them if necessary so as to prevent the tripod
legs from collapsing unintentionally.

Wood is a breathable material. You should therefore only keep your tripod in a Berlebach
tripod case made of cotton fabric.

The tripod is fully recyclable.

We wish you lots of fun and good results with your Berlebach Ash Wood Tripod.
