Lock (Utility Menu): Select MODE

Here you can enable or disable the hardware lock function designed to protect the UCS PRO from tampering
or accidental changes to the current set-up. It allows you to enter a password to enable a

The RM2 is delivered unlocked (Full Editing Access), but your supplying dealer/installer may have set a
password. We will assume the RM2 is

Lock (Fig.5). Now use the right arrow key to move down to the

password entry box - the first digit will flash. Think of a memorable 4-digit password (can be letters or
numbers or a mixture of both). Use the rotary control to select the first letter or number. Now press the right
arrow key again to move to the next digit, and repeat the process. Repeat for the third digit. After selecting
the final (4 ) digit (and having ensured you will remember the code!), press ENTER.
