ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly of this fixture will be accomplished by first installing the mounting strap to

the junction box, making all necessary electrical connections, mounting the fixture to

the wall and then installing the fixture glass.

SAFETY WARNING:

Read wiring and grounding instructions [FRIS 18]

and any additional directions. Turn power supply off during installation. If new wiring

is required, consult a qualified electrician or local authorities for code requirements.

STEP 1

Remove main mounting plate (a) from fixture back plate (b) by removing the

four flat head screws (c) -

See Drawing 1.

Slide the wires from the junction box, through the large center hole, making sure

curved slots (d) line up with the threaded holes (e) in the junction box.

Using two 8-32 screws (f) attach the main mounting plate (a) to the junction box,

making sure side of mounting plate (a) is square to the ceiling.

Make electrical connections from supply wire to fixture lead wires. Refer to

instruction sheet [FRIS18] and follow all instructions to make all necessary

wiring connections. Then refer back to this sheet to continue installation of

this fixture.

To mount fixture, slide the back plate (b) over mounting plate (a) - See Drawing 1.

Attach back plate (b) to the mounting plate (a) using the screws (c).

STEP 2

Remove socket ring (3) from socket (6) - See Drawing 2.

Slip shade (2) over socket and onto top of tube (1).

Thread socket ring (3) back onto socket (6) and tighten to secure shade.

Fixture can now be lamped accordingly. Bulb shield (4) can be threaded onto

socket (6) after fixture is lamped

Slip inside glass (5) over shield (4) and socket (6) until it rests inside cup (7) of

shade (2).
