Drawing 3 - Glass Installation
1. Find a clear area in which you can work.
2. Unpack fixture and glass from carton.
3. Carefully review instructions prior to assembly.
1. Prepare mounting strap (A) by threading the two long mounting
screws (B) into the back of the gull wing bracket - see Drawing 1.
• Be sure the holes into which the screws are threaded match the spacing
of holes (D) in the ceiling pan (1) - see Drawings 1 and 2.
2. Attach mounting strap (A) to junction box (J) using two 8-32 screws (C)
(not provided).
*** Assembly of this fixture will be accomplished by first, preparing the
mounting strap, installing the mounting strap, making all necessary
electrical connections, mounting the ceiling pan, and then attaching the
glass.
SAFETY WARNING: READ WIRING AND GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
(I.S. 18) AND ANY ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS. TURN POWER SUPPLY
OFF DURING INSTALLATION. IF NEW WIRING IS REQUIRED,
CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN OR LOCAL AUTHORITIES
FOR CODE REQUIREMENTS.
Make electrical connections from supply wire to fixture lead wires.
Refer to instruction sheet (I.S. 18) and follow all instructions to make
all necessary wiring connections. Then refer back to this sheet to
continue installation of this fixture.
1. To install ceiling pan (1) slip mounting holes (D), in ceiling pan, over the
screws (B) installed in the mounting strap (A) - see Drawing 2.
2. Thread knobs (F) onto end of mounting screws (B) and tighten until
ceiling pan (1) is tight against the ceiling.
3. After ceiling pan is installed, the fixture can be lamped accordingly prior
to installing the glass.
1. To install the glass (2), first place glass into decorative ring (3).
2. Next take ring (3) and glass (2) and lift it up to the ceiling pan (1) and
align holes in uprights (U), attached to the ring (3), with the threaded holes
(T) located in the side of the ceiling pan (1) and hold parts in position.
3. Slip threaded stud of decorative knob (4) through hole in upright (U) and
thread into hole of ceiling pan. Repeat for remaining two uprights.
4. Fixture is complete and power can be restored.

Effectuer les connexions électriques du câble d'alimentation au
