Family: Veranda Item No. 4899 SU
1. Find a clear area in which you can work.
2. Unpack fixture and glass from carton.
3. Carefully review instructions prior to assembly.
*** The construction of this fixture will be accomplished by first partially
assembling the main body of the fixture, installing the required mounting
braces, mounting the mounting strap to the junction box, making all necessary
electrical connections, hanging the fixture from the ceiling and then completing the
assembly of the main fixture.

1. Thread nipple (1) with hex nut into coupling (A).
2. Slide center tube (2), followed by check ring (3), check ring (4), tube (5), check ring
(6), leaf (7) and tube (8) over nipple (9).
3. Thread loop (10) onto nipple (9) and tighten to secure.
4. Adjust lower arms (B
&
C) to their desired positions, then secure by threading ball
knob screw (11) into lower housing (D).
5. Install upper arm (E) by placing onto pin (12), then secure by threading ball knob
screw (13) into tube (5).
6. Thread finial (14) onto nipple (15).
7. Please refer to I.S. 19-50 to properly hang fixture from ceiling and continue
installation of this fixture. This fixture is over 50 lbs when fully assembled. In order to
be U.L. compliant, additional support in the ceiling is required.

AND ANY ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS. TURN POWER SUPPLY OFF DURING
INSTALLATION. IF NEW WIRING IS REQUIRED, CONSULT A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN OR LOCAL AUTHORITIES FOR CODE REQUIREMENTS.
1. Slip candle sleeve (F) over the socket (G) - see Drawing 1.
2. Slide harp (H) and fabric shade (J) onto socket (G).
3. Attach crystal pendalogues (K) at points noted.
4. Fixture can now be lamped accordingly.
