ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Assembly of this fixture will be accomplished by first determining the length of wire

required, attaching the mounting strap to the junction box, making all necessary

electrical connections, and then hanging the fixture from the ceiling.

SAFETY WARNING:

Read wiring and grounding instructions [FRIS 18]

and any additional directions. Turn power supply off during installation. If new wiring

is required, consult a qualified electrician or local authorities for code requirements.

First it will be necessary to determine the height you want to hang your fixture.

After this has been determined, to adjust the cord length unthread collar (1)
from locking mechanism (2) of canopy assembly, and slip it down along the cord (3)
- See Drawing 1.

The canopy (4) can now be slipped down the cord (3). This allows access to the
mounting plate (5).

Slip mounting plate along wire until it is at the approximate location necessary
to hang your fixture at the pre-determined height. Slip excess cord through hole
(6) of mounting plate (4).

Excess wire can now be trimmed off. Do Not remove wire from hole (6) in mounting
plate. Follow wiring instructions [FRIS18] provided to make all necesary wiring
connections.

Now slip supply wires from junction box through large rectangular hole in
mounting plate. Then slip screws (7) through keyhole slots (8) in mounting plate
and twist plate until screws are at the end of the slot. Tighten screws (7) to secure
mounting plate to junction box.

Thread screws (7) supplied into the corner of the junction box (j)several
turns.

Now slip canopy (4) along cord (3) and up against the ceiling and hold in position.

Now slip collar (1) along cord (3) and thread onto locking mechanism (3) and
tighten to secure cord and fixture.

Fixture is complete and can be lamped accordingly.
