1. Find a clear area in which you can work.
2. Unpack fixture and glass from carton.
3. Carefully review instructions prior to assembly.
1. Prepare mounting strap (A) by threading the two 8-32 x 1 mounting screws (B)
into the back of the mounting strap (A) - see Drawing 1.
• Be sure the holes into which the screws are threaded match the spacing of holes (E)
in the backplate (F).
2. Attach mounting strap (A) to junction box (J) by threading 2 screws (C) provided
into holes (D) of junction box (J).
1. Slip glass (1), removed earlier, back in to fixture making sure glass engages holding
clips (6) at bottom front of fixture - see Drawing 2.
2. Replace glass clips (5) and screws (4) removed earlier.
3. Fixture can now be lamped accordingly. Slip prongs of lamp base into socket and
twist to lock bulb in place.
4. Re-attach lid (3) using the four screws (2) set aside earlier.
1. To mount fixture, it will be necessary to remove the glass (1). To accomplish this,
place fixture back side down and remove the four screws (2) from the top of the fixture
( set them aside to use later) - see Drawing 2.
2. Lift lid (3) and tilt back onto table, making sure not to damage the socket wires.
3. Remove screws (4) that attaches glass clips (5) to cross brace.
4. Gently pull up on glass (1) and remove from fixture and set aside. Replace lid but do
not thread in screws.
5. Line up holes (E) in backplate (F) and slide fixture over both 8-32 x 1 screws (B) and
hold in place - see Drawing 1.
6. Thread on ball knobs (F) to secure fixture to wall.
*** The construction of this fixture will be accomplished by first attaching the
mounting strap to the junction box, making all necessary electrical connections,
mounting the fixture to the wall, installing the glass, and then lamping the fixture.

Note: Maximum wattage for 1760 / 1764 fixture is 50 watts per GU10 bulb.

Make electrical connections from supply wire to fixture lead wires. Refer to instruction
sheet (I.S. 18) and follow all instructions to make all necessary wiring connections.
Then refer back to this sheet to continue installation of this fixture.
