1. Find a clear area in which you can work.
2. Unpack fixture and glass from carton.
3. Carefully review instructions prior to assembly.
*** The construction of this fixture will be accomplished by first attaching the
mounting strap to the junction box, making all necessary electrical connections,
hanging the fixture from the ceiling, installing the glass, and then attaching the
crystal pentalogues.

1. Prepare gem strap (A) for mounting by threading two screws (B) provided into
back of gull wing bracket of gem strap (A) - see Drawing 2.
• Be sure the holes into which the screws are threaded match the spacing of holes (D)
in the ceiling pan (1) - see Drawings 2 and 3.
2. Mount gem strap (A) to junction box (J), using the two 1” screws (C) provided.
Make electrical connections from supply wire to fixture lead wires. Refer to instruction
sheet (I.S. 18) and follow all instructions to make all necessary wiring connections.
Then refer back to this sheet to continue installation of this fixture.
2. To hang the fixture body, prior to installing the glass, slip the holes (D) in the
canopy (1) over the screws (B) in the mounting strap (A) - see Drawing 3.
3. Thread on ball knobs (F) to secure fixture to the ceiling.
1. To install glass first thread hex nut (3) onto one end of center stem (2) approximately
1/2” down.
2. Thread center stem (2) into coupler (A) approximately 3/8” located in the center of
the socket assembly on fixture body (1) - see Drawing 1.
3. Thread hex nut (3) up against coupler (A) to lock center stem (2) in place.
4. Thread hex nut (4) onto bottom of center stem approximately 1-3/8”.
5. Slip glass support cap (5) onto center stem rubber gasket side down
and hold in position.
6. Thread hex nut (6) onto center stem and tighten to lock glass support cap (5) in place.
7. Slip glass (7) onto center stem and hold in position.
8. Thread knurled nut (8) on to center stem and tighten to secure glass.
9. Slip cap (9) onto center stem and hold in position.
10. Thread bottom finial (10) onto end of center stem and tighten to complete fixture.
SAFETY WARNING: READ WIRING AND GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS (I.S. 18)
AND ANY ADDITIONAL DIRECTIONS. TURN POWER SUPPLY OFF DURING
INSTALLATION. IF NEW WIRING IS REQUIRED, CONSULT A QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN OR LOCAL AUTHORITIES FOR CODE REQUIREMENTS.

1. Prior to mounting fixture to ceiling attach arms (11) to canopy (1) using lockwasher
(12) and hex nut (13).
