Note - NG appears when measuring is unsuccessful. Press the OK button
while displayed to return to the White Balance fine tune screen. NG appears
when the picture is extremely over or under exposed. Adjust your exposure
and return to steps 6-10.

Pentax 100D

1. Install the ExpoDisc and set the camera to Manual Focus mode.
2. Allow the camera to set an automatic exposure using the “P”, “S” or “A”

modes or set the correct manual exposure in “M” mode.

3. Press the Fn button. The Fn menu appears.
4. Press the four-way controller () until the White Balance screen appears.
5. Use the four-way controller to select

(Manual). Press the four-way

controller () and the message screen appears: ʻPoint camera at subject.
Press the shutter release button.ʼ

6. Aim the camera in the appropriate direction for the given lighting condition

and press the shutter release button. See the ExpoDisc Instruction Manual for
more information on where to aim the camera.

7. The shutter clicks and OK appears on the LCD monitor when setting is

completed.

8. NG appears when the measurement is unsuccessful. Press the OK button

while NG is displayed. NG appears when the picture is extremely over or
under exposed. Adjust your exposure and return to steps 6.

9. Press the OK button. The camera is now ready to take a picture with the

custom white balance.

Pentax 200D

1. Install the ExpoDisc and set the camera to Manual Focus mode.
2. Allow the camera to set an automatic exposure using the “P”, “S” or “A”

modes or set the correct manual exposure in “M” mode.

3. Press the Fn button. The Fn menu appears.
4. Press the four-way controller () until the White Balance screen appears.
5. Use the four-way controller to select

(Manual). Press OK.

6. Aim the camera in the appropriate direction for the given lighting condition

and press the shutter release button. See the ExpoDisc Instruction Manual for
more information on where to aim the camera.

7. The shutter clicks and the screen to select the measuring range is displayed.
8. Use the e-dial to select the entire screen. Press OK and the camera will

return to the White Balance Screen.

9. Press OK again and now the camera is ready to take a picture with the

custom white balance.
